I love the feel of spring! It implies new beginnings, fresh ideas and promise... We had an exciting start to this year with the move into our new design studio. We love showing it off to our clients… Steve’s next project is a new deck behind the studio so we can provide outdoor consultations overlooking our garden. A unique an inspiring setting for our Muskoka clients.

WedLuxe has featured one of our bouquets in the Winter/ Spring issue. It was fun creating a bouquet to match such an amazing accessory. I love this glamorous magazine (and not just because we were featured!) and always look forward to the next issue. Pick up a copy at the newsstands and check it out! Visit their website...wedluxe.com
I am off at the beginning of May to take the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada certification (WPICC). I look forward to meeting others in the industry and expanding my knowledge. Jessica our Event Manager-Coordinator has been a catalyst in getting off and running with this. I just completed an article for Muskoka Magazine titled “Whose Wedding Is It?” A little bit controversial, and a lot of fun to read. The magazine will hit the stands in May. Pick up the maggie or wait for our posting under articles.
A peak at our inspirational couples so far in 2009… Jackie loves Myles… February 14th was a true celebration of love set against the beautiful wintery shoreline of Taboo Resort in Gravenhurst, Muskoka. The photo journalistic style of Erika and Ryan at Rowell Photography never ceases to amaze me. Make sure you visit their website rowellphoto.com for true inspiration!
Nicole marries Kevin… March 28th at Delta Grandview’s Marco Mara Golf Course, in Huntsville. Our Bride and Groom are wine coinsures and a beautiful wine theme developed during our consultations. The end result was a trendy wine themed wedding including wine tasting stations, cork place card holders and wine bottle centerpieces.
Rene marries Geoff… April 25th at Taboo Resort, Gravenhurst. Rene feel in love with our lemon votives and this was the inspiration for the beginning of her design. Add black and silver to the fresh feel of lemons and you have a WOW wedding! Thanks to Mother Nature for holding off just long enough for Rene and Geoff to be married outside.
Stay tuned next month as our Event Manager, Jessica Stevens updates our Blog!
